Cinema Tropical’s Executive Director Carlos Gutiérrez will be in conversation with award-winning filmmaker Carlos Sandoval and Executive Director of OLA (Organización Latino-Americana) Minerva Perez to discuss the renaissance of Latin American cinema over the last twenty years. Our panelists will also discuss Latin cinema’s future direction, including the new wave of US Latinx filmmakers. Film clips will be shown. In English and Spanish with interpretation by OLA Board Member Ana Kestler.
