When a young girl (Kate Maberly) is sent to live with her uncle (John Lynch) in England after the death of her parents, his manner and sorrow leaves her feeling bitterly alone. While furtively exploring the house, she discovers her late aunt’s locked-up, neglected garden. The garden proves to be a magical place for Mary, the maid’s son Dickon, and Mary’s bed-ridden, bitter cousin Colin Craven .Adapted from Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic fairy tale, “The Secret Garden.”  Also starring Maggie Smith and Andrew Knott.
