Lighthouse Project

Free • All Ages • Mornings/Early Afternoons

The Lighthouse Project is dedicated to mental health awareness, advocacy, and action. Free and open to the public, each edition pairs films with expert-led panels to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and build community.

Using film as both mirror and guide, it helps audiences see mental health not as an abstraction, but as a shared part of our human experience.

Generously sponsored by the Florin Smith Family.

Previous Lighthouse Program

Maternal Mental Health

Saturday, June 13th

The Lighthouse Project returned with a program on maternal mental health, using If I Had Legs I’d Kick You (Mary Bronstein, 2025) as an entry point for discussion around postpartum depression and anxiety, caregiving, and systems of support for mothers and families. The feature film screened with a short: Tale of Two Mothers (Sam Vladimirsky, 2019).
